Let me introduce myself

My name is Naomi (she/her), and I am about to graduate with a degree in Design Computing and Marketing from the University of Sydney. I recently completed a semester abroad at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

My mission is to design experiences that are impactful, intuitive, and bold. I aim to design ethical solutions that enhance everyday interactions and contribute positively to the world around us.

Design experience

I thrive on the problem-solving aspect of design and appreciate how effective design can enhance a user's experience by simplifying complex tasks. One of my key strengths is empathising with users, uncovering their genuine desires and needs. I excel in thorough research, identifying the right problem to tackle, and leveraging problem-solving techniques to create innovative solutions. I have demonstrated these skills through my work with several university societies, a part-time job with a healthcare company, freelance work with a startup, and a recent internship with ANZ Bank.

What I enjoy doing in my free time

I love to run! I also started doing triathlons so I’ve been doing lots of swimming and cycling as well.

My recent obsession is pickleball. I could spend hours on the court.

I have a super cute dog who I love spending time with. In year 8, I designed a presentation to persuade my parents to let us adopt him.
